NASIM [MADATALI MOOLJI] CHARANIA email....nasimcharania@yahoo.com CONGRATULATIONS to the creators of this wonderful site! Let me start from the beginning......... Born in Jinja to Madatali and Roshan Moolji.Sibling to Zebunnissa [lives in Ottawa] Salim [lives in Germany] Nizar[lives in Calgary] and Nimira [also in Calgary]I went to the Go an School,then on to Victoria Nile School,to Wooden School and finally to Parvatiben Madhavani Secondary School.

Left for London,England soon after completing high school.Got married to Mehboob Charania,moved to Ottawa,Canada and produced 3 wonderful children,Alykhan,Aliya and Aymeen.I am presently teaching Esthetics at Versailles Academy,in Ottawa,.For the music lovers...I always sang at the School Assemblies...and I haven't stopped!!.I loved to sing as a hobby and sing professionally now. Let me tell you a bit about Mehboob [aka Mike] who hails from Jinja too........[He unfortunately is computer illiterate....I will be communicating all this to him!]

Mehboob is the youngest of 11 children born to Virjibhai Jagjiwan and Shakina Charania.He went to Magwa Primary School,then on to Jinja Secondary School and then joined the family Business......Jubilee watch Company in Jinja and Kampala.Left for Switzerland soon after...came to Ottawa in 1973,married me in 1976 and have been here ever since running his present business Jubilee Fine Jewellers.

His brothers Gulam,Haider,Zinat and Umed who are now retired from the same family business, all reside in Ottawa too.The brothers were avid Volleyball players in Jinja [The 9 Bullets]...His sisters are Gulbanu[lives in Belgium] Noorjaan [lives in Vancouver] Fariyal [lives in Ottawa] Zohra aka Jolly [in Ottawa] Nilufar [in Ottawa] and Yasmin.

Thanks Madatbhai Shariff for forwarding this site to me and letting me introduce myself and Mehboob to all the 'lost' Jinjans. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who remembers me....or Mehboob....or both of us!
