Hi friendsIt is wonderful to have a site that all ex-Jinja guys can communicate through.I am Nazir Majothi. I lived in Jinja almost all my life until Idi Amin had the famous dream.

I lived opposit the Wooden School and went to Jinja Senior Secondary.My best friends at the time was Hasu (aka Tingu), Mamudu, and Khalil. I played all sports including badminton and valley ball. My elder cousin brother was Haroon Majothi (moto Haroon) who everybody knew.

When I left Jinja, I was stateless and ended up in Italy and then in Norway. I was re-united with my family in UK in 1974. My family consists of my mum Hanifabai, sisters Shamim, Naaz and Talat and my brother Imtiaz.

All my family - with their families - live in Bristol, UK.I am married and have two sons and a daughter.I would love to talk and meet anyone that recognises me.Get in touch!
